Our Team 

 

Revive Rehab, Inc. is an outpatient clinic specializing in pain management.  We use a personalized, innovative, whole body approach to restore you to an active lifestyle and help you live pain free.  Our therapists use specialized approaches such as Myofascial Release Techniques for pain management and Bobath’s Neuro Developmental Techniques (NDT) for neuro rehabilitation.  Our therapists have had extensive training from the founders and leading experts in these fields, John F. Barnes in Myofascial Release Techniques and from Waleed Al-Oboudi in NEURO- IFRAH and NDT treatment approaches.

A PASSION FOR HELPING OTHERS

 

Darly Thoppil, owner and President of Revive Rehab, Inc. is extremely passionate about her work in the field of Occupational Therapy. She has more than 20 years of experience working in different settings such as inpatient, outpatient, school systems, assisted living facilities and skilled nursing facilities.

 

Darly's true love and passion lie in neurological rehabilitation and pain management which led her to seek extensive training in Myofascial Release (MFR) Techniques and the Neuro-Developmental Technique (NDT).   MFR is one of the most innovative, non-invasive, pain management techniques in the healthcare field today. 

 

Darly continues to educate herself under renowned experts in the industry, including studying the Neuro-Developmental Technique at Loma Linda University, California, and Myofascial Release therapy under founder John F. Barnes.

 

Darly's patients consistently refer others to her because of the outstanding results they've experienced at Revive Rehab.

Katerina Benedict

LEARNING FROM EXPERIENCE

Katerina Benedict is a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant at Revive Rehab. Katerina graduated from Florida State College of Jacksonville in 2018 with a degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting. She has had experience in the school system working with children with special needs and learning disabilities as well as skilled nursing facilities. Katerina grew up with OT. As a homeschooler, she participated in handwriting without tears and many other occupational therapy interventions due to her learning disabilities as a child. Katerina enjoys the one on one patient care and making a difference in each of her patients’ lives. She is compassionate and cares about everyone who walks through the doors. Katerina values healing in all ways especially combining the physical, spiritual, and emotional. She found that John F. Barns Myofascial Release technique encompassed all of those aspects. She has been practicing OT with a specialty in MFR for over a year now and has taken many courses with John F. Barnes as well as lymphedema training courses and is excited to continue enhancing her skills at Revive Rehab.

Katerina has a passion for the water. She was a lifeguard, swam for years, and taught swim lessons. She working on becoming a certified aquatic therapist and is excited to work with people in an environment so comfortable to her.
